29 Dec 2007 - TYREBAGGER FOREST

The final walk of the year saw 7 hardy souls heading for Tyrebagger Hill in misty and damp conditions. A two and a quarter hour walk saw us traipse around the various paths of the forest and also included a visit to the 'Tappie', a small tower at the top of the hill (see picture opposite). Apart from a minor altercation with a bolshie cyclist the walk went without incident with Dave Moir leading the way.

After getting spruced up 15 attended the annual get together at night and food, drink, a discussion of next years itinerary and a couple of quizzes saw the year end on a happy note"
