26 Jul 2008 - Fintray Walkers

The July Fintray walk will be on Sat 26th July and will be a traverse of the high road from Glen Callater to Glen Clova, partly following the route of ‘Jocks Road’, but also taking in the 2 hills of Tolmount and Tom
Buidhe.

The walk will be 22km (13.5miles) in length with a total climb of 630m/2060ft. This walk will be similar in nature to the Brown Cow Hill walk last month albeit slightly longer and a little more climbing.

We will be using a mini-bus for this walk and a charge will be made. The cost will depend on the miles travelled and the amount of us attending.

The walk should take about 7 ½ hours to complete. With quite a way to travel we will leave Fintray Village Hall at 7:30am hoping to return at about 7pm.
